By using Proteneo, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Medical Disclaimer. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Proteneo is: a personal wellness-tracking tool. You record information about yourself — your own treatments, supplements, doses, schedules, reminders, workouts, nutrition, weight, and wellness check-ins. Proteneo does not give medical advice, does not make treatment decisions, and does not recommend, prescribe, or diagnose. It records and displays what you enter, including arithmetic summaries, charts, and trends computed from it. It does not interpret any of that for you or tell you what to do about it. You are the only actor. See the Medical Disclaimer.
Eligibility: you must be at least 18 years old to use Proteneo, and the information you enter must be your own (unless you have authorization to record someone else's).
License: we grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on your own devices, for your own personal wellness tracking.
Accounts: the app is local-only today — there is no account and nothing to sign into. If we add optional cloud sync later, we'll update these Terms first.
Acceptable use: don't use the app unlawfully, don't try to access our systems or other users' data, don't reverse-engineer the app, and don't record another person's information without their authorization.
Subscription: Proteneo is a whole-app auto-renewing subscription, offered as a monthly or an annual plan and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price for your region, and the length of any free trial, are shown on the subscription screen before you purchase and in your App Store / Google Play account. A free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. We may change subscription prices from time to time; where we do, we will give you advance notice through the App Store or Google Play and, where required, obtain your consent before the new price applies, and you may cancel before renewing at the new price. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store / Google Play account settings; the app links you there from Settings and from the subscription screen. Refund eligibility and requests are governed by the applicable store's policies and by law. If your subscription lapses we do not delete anything: your entries stay on your device. But Proteneo is a whole-app subscription, so you will not be able to open the app - including its export features - until you resubscribe or restore a purchase. Deleting the app does NOT cancel your subscription.
Your data: you own the wellness data you enter. It stays on your device and never leaves except when you export or share it — as a PDF, an interactive HTML file, or a backup file — through your phone's share sheet. Proteneo does not add password protection or its own encryption to exported files, so choose carefully where you save them and who you share them with.
No warranty: the app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Any calculations the app shows — macro targets, calorie estimates, adherence rates, trends — are estimates only, computed from general formulas, and may contain errors.
Limitation of liability: to the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past 12 months or $100.
Termination: you can stop using the app anytime. Uninstalling removes your local data — there's no account to delete.
Governing law: Texas, USA, with venue in Travis County. Before filing a claim, please contact us and try to resolve it informally for at least 30 days.
Changes: we may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app with a new effective date.
